I was very surprised when I received an invitation to attend a show during NYFW (lol) I completely forgot about the fashion week life. I have been pretty lost with dates lately; I hope I am not the only one having this problem.

Even though I felt weird attending a show after one year of being out of the loop, I am glad I went. It was a relief to see people enjoying mostly freely and carefree, and even though I was not excited about the collections I did enjoy being around people and the collections color palette, mostly light/pastel colors and feminine/flowy pieces, same with men, super feminine collections (I am still not clear about the reason why designers keep creating girly pieces for men, who am I kidding? of course I know why but let’s keep pretending that is ok).

They also showed a few collections for kids, the best part of it, was to watch those kids happily rocking that slippery runway. Design-wise, nothing exciting or creative to see, and course as usual one of the designers didn’t miss the opportunity to try to raise and influence other people’s kids, because yes why not let NON-parents or whoever raise kids and make child abuse look harmless.
