I know the trip was ages ago but I feel is important to try to describe the glam feeling I experienced during my stay in Milan, especially during the fashion week days.

I must say, for once I enjoyed playing dress-up, I am not sure if it was because somehow it felt easy to do it since it was pretty much about short dresses, something that felt so familiar to me and my former islander life or what was it, but I really liked it!

Day one of the fashion week was all about fancy up to attend Tiziano Guardini fashion show, next to the Duomo. The weather was great, so I had no problems wearing this outfit, but a note here, walking around Milan in high heels can be quite challenging due to the amount of cobble stone all over the city. Italian girls mastered the art of walking around in this conditions but I am pretty sure many of us can’t, so kudos to them!

We spent the rest of the afternoon walking around the city and making the mistake of entering their shops! Very difficult not to end up shopping there, I wasn’t planning onto but the temptation was stronger than me and is cheaper to shop there than in New York (they give you back the taxes at the airport).

I was so excited about this day that I actually endured a whole afternoon of high heels and long walks around this wonderful and chic city.

My second fashion week day was dedicated to attend a cocktail event to see San Andres collection at hotel Senato and then LM Agnese at the Four Seasons. For this day I went back to my usual black on black and lower heels.

During the 3rd day of shows, I had to attend Anteprima show at the Scuola Militare Teulié during the morning and then the presentation of Ara Lumiere + Dhruv Kapoor at Palazzo Durini. After a hectic morning, running around after shows and struggling trying to find a cab while wearing very high heels we went for lunch at Martini Bar.

For that day I chose to wear my little black dress, belted and matched with navy blue pumps. This little piece had an 80’s vibe, which I love!
