Journeys to the sparse ruggedness of the Arizona and Mexico deserts. Here, the collection explores the unique chiaroscuro of unbated light on ragged dark angles beneath a bright blue sky or a smoldering sunset.

In keeping with this season's inspiration, the SS17 collection is refined, yet understated and easy. A new volume informs the overall silhouette of the collection proposes suiting for the Millennial Man and soft tailoring presents an updated perspective on the leisure set. Outwear such as the Bomber and the Eisenhower jacket, are reimagined in a relaxed cardigan silhouette. New this season. New this season are layering pieces in novelty silk and linen yarns for transitional use.

The textiles utilized reflect the overall tone of this season's inspiration. Matte and textured fabrications, ranging from subtle to more demonstrative patterns, inject an element of movement into individual garments. Cotton poplins and jacquards, as well as Japanese denim, marry well with denser fabrics, such a coated cotton and twill jerseys, and embossed and printed suedes. Knitwear celebrates the intricate geometries of Navajo blankets. 

This season color palette is a direct reflection of the astounding color spectrum of Arizona and New Mexico: anthracite, iron grays, indigo and olive green are juxtaposed with dusty roses, sun-bleached yellows, oranges and translucent blues.

Seco's describes the line as "streets meet urban sophistication".
