This was another event I had to attend, I didn’t even hear about Parajumpers before, because if there is something I hate is winter and anything related to cold weather. All I want to do during winter is to stay inside of a steaming hottttttt bath to keep even my soul warm.
But surprisingly stepping inside of the space where they were presenting their fall|winter collection gave me this desire of going hiking to Mount Everest and the arctic, huh? but yes out of the sudden that is what I wanted to do, be out there in nature and be part of their rescue teams (hah like I can even run for a long period of time jaja). They were showing images with the bio of some of the people who dedicate their lives to saving others lives.
This collection is not only designed to protect you from the elements but is very stylish I could even see myself wearing some of their pieces in the city.
Parajumpers was born in 2006 in Italy, thanks to the cooperation between Ape & Partners and designer Massimo Rossetti, inspired by a meeting with a serving member of the 210th Rescue Squadron. The PJs - short for PARAJUMPERS - are highly trained for extreme rescues and recoveries in the wildest, most remote and hostile corners of the Globe. Whether it be ships adrift at sea, rock-climbers stuck atop a 4,000-meter peak, or submariners sunk at unimaginable depths, these men are called to intervene. Tough and courageous, they are better trained than any other military corps, but most important, they use their skills and techniques to save lives. Their motto is 'That Others May Live'.
